<B>Circa 1927 John McGraw Signed Photograph.</B></I> The third and final autographed photo consigned by the niece of Joe Glassenberg, who served as bat boy for the New York Yankees from 1926 through 1928. Though Joe does not appear in this "Pacific & Atlantic Photos" wire image, and the dimensions are a more standard 7.5x9.5", the theme of flawless ink quality that characterizes the Ruth and Gehrig photos is continued here as well, with the Hall of Fame Giants manager applying the boldest of blue fountain pen across his chest. Mugsy shakes the hand of an unidentified gentleman in this image rendered with sharp contrast and detail, his hair white from the stresses of a quarter century at the Giants' helm. Some wear to the edges of the image must be noted, most notably a corner chip at upper right that has been secured with clear tape, though a simple matting job would easily provide a NRMT appearance with no loss to the central focus. A tough and very desirable signed image absent from most Hall of Fame autograph collections. <I>LOA from PSA/DNA.
