<B>Circa 1918 Babe Ruth Culver Service Photograph, Type 1.</B></I> The Babe's somewhat awkward batting stance is to be forgiven--after all, he was just a pitcher at the time this photo was snapped. Spectacular action shot of Ruth in Boston Red Sox uniform is one of just a tiny handful known to exist. Wear is confined almost completely to the wide white borders, leaving the image area to present as all but flawless. "Culver Pictures" stamping on verso. 6x8". Confirmed as "Type 1" by PSA/DNA. CGC grade: Fine.
