Nice group from this railroad. Lot includes 3 common stocks and 3 preferred stocks all issued in the 1880's and all signed by Orland Smith as president. 100, 10, and odd shares of each type so three different colors of common and of preferred. Orland Smith (May 2, 1825 – October 3, 1903) was a railroad executive and a brigade commander in the Union Army during the American Civil War. In 1864, he led a spirited bayonet charge during the Battle of Wauhatchie that took a significant Confederate position on a hill that now bears his name (wiki). Also, 5 partially issued (signed) certificates, signed by Orland Smith or by McClintock. Then, two scrip certificates, one issued in 1889 and signed by Smith, and the other partially issued (signed) by Smith.
