<B>Cincinnati, OH</B></I> - $100 1882 Brown Back Fr. 527 <B>The National Lafayette Bank</B></I> Ch. # 2315<BR> This note comes from an odd bank which ran through three titles before liquidating in 1905. While it issued low denomination examples in its first and second incarnations, only high denomination notes were issued bearing the third title, which was utilized from 1884 until the bank closed. This is one of two $100 Brown Backs known, both of which are virtually identical in grade. This specimen traces its pedigree back to the 2000 Memphis sale, and before that to a single 1992 offering. <B>Very Fine+.</B></I><BR><I>From The Thomas M.
