<B>Buddy Holly Cigarette Lighter.</B></I> This lighter was presented by Buddy Holly and the Crickets to friend and deejay Jerry "Bo" Coleman during his live radio show on July 1, 1958. It's the only known engraved gift given by the group, and the engraved words read, "To Jerry from Buddy Holly and the Crickets." The occasion was Coleman's 22nd birthday, and Buddy even sang "Happy Birthday" to him! The silver-colored "Varaflame" cigarette lighter was manufactured by Ronson ("World's Greatest Lighter"), measures 1.5" x 2.5" and comes in its original case. Both lighter and case are in Excellent condition.
