Howard Chandler Christy’s “Portfolio Susan Lenox.” Hearst’s Magazine: 1915. Eight color plates printed on oil canvas paper feature Susan Lenox in a variety of poses. Subjects include visiting a friend, putting on a bonnet, at the pond, tipping a waiter, taking a nap, dressing in front of a mirror, spending time with a suitor and daydreaming by a fence. Plates measure . Plate of Susan putting on a bonnet shows soiling along 1” of top right margin. Portfolio cover shows edge wear and toning. Otherwise excellent condition.
