Featured in this lot is this Choctaw gourd and Plains Indians wooden utensils. There are three utensils in this collection. The first is a gourd spoon or bowl from the Choctaw tribe that shows a natural handle that has been drilled out to add string to make it easier to hold. The second is a Plains Indians wooden hairpick that shows one end with long slender teeth and the other shows a larger pick sharpened end. The last is a ladle or spoon that has a bear carved into the handle and from the Plains Indians. The condition of this collection of utensils is good with the hair comb showing a natural fissure to the base of the comb but otherwise shows good overall condition. The measurements of these utensils are 5" x 3 1/4" x 1 3/4" for the gourd bowl, 10 1/4" x 2 1/2" x 5/8" for the hair comb, and 5 1/2" x 3 5/8" x 6" for the ladle or spoon.
