The piece shows a tightly woven basket vase that has been completely covered in tree sap to waterproof. The piece is from the Chippewa Native American Indians. This also comes with the Wisconsin Archeological Society membership card signed by Arthur Kannenbery in February 1, 1931. The piece is from Mr. Kannenbery's collection. The vase is believed to date pre-1900's. Measures 7.75"t and 6.5" diameter.
