Significant pair of Mizuno baseball cleats personally worn by Hall of Fame third baseman Chipper Jones of the Atlanta Braves when he hit his 199th and 200th career home runs in a 7-5 regular season win over the St. Louis Cardinals on May 6, 2001. The cleats, no size (likely 14), feature his number ‰ÛÏ10‰Û embroidered to each heel, with the front of each signed in silver ink, ‰ÛÏChipper Jones, 10.‰Û In fine condition, with expected signs of use and wear. Accompanied by a color photo featuring three images taken on the day of Jones‰Ûªs 200th HR game, with one image showing the consignor (his face boxed out) posing with Jones after the game. Provenance: Lelands, ‰Û÷2020 Fall Classic,‰Ûª December 2020.

By the start of his 7th full season in the big leagues, Jones had already established himself as one of baseball‰Ûªs great young stars and a perennial contender for the National League MVP. The 2001 season was no exception for the 29-year-old infielder, who finished the year with 189 hits, 113 runs, 102 RBIs, and 38 home runs while batting a team-leading .330, stats that earned him his fifth All-Star selection and helped the Braves reach the NLDS for the 6th time in seven years.
