A finely embroidered Chinese silk panel depicting the Eight Immortals accompanied by two celestial deities, set against a rich red silk ground. Each figure is portrayed with distinctive attributes, the fan, flute, lotus, gourd, and other symbolic objects, representing powers of healing, longevity, and transformation. The two additional deities, including a graceful female figure at the lower left and Liu Hai at the lower right teasing his three-legged money toad, complete the celestial assembly. Worked in intricate satin and couching stitches with shaded silks and patterned robes, the embroidery demonstrates exceptional craftsmanship and balance. Mounted within a silk brocade border and later glazed frame.
