Chinese Qianlong period porcelain doucai 'lotus pond' bowl, the exterior painted with 4 ducks alternating with 4 lotus plants, above blue lotus band, the interior painted with 2 ducks on pond, underglaze blue painted Qianlong seal mark and of the period (1736-95), section of footrim missing, 4.1ins. dia. (see illustration). An identical bowl was sold at Christie's Hong Kong on 27th October 2003, lot 671. Est.£500/700
