Qing dynasty extremely rare imperial jade seal; of square section surmounted by a coiling dragon with its head flanked by long and curved nostrils; the powerful body incised with flowing whiskers and continuous scales; four sides are fully incised with seal scripts; the seal face carved with four-character Da Qing Zhi Bao (meaning the treasure of the Great Qing Dynasty) along with Manchu script; the jade of translucent greyish white tone with russet veins and olive green inclusion; H: 9.5 cm, L: 11 cm, W: 11 cm, 2428 grams
