A large Chinese Export porcelain garden stool, hand-painted in vibrant Imari-style enamels of iron red, cobalt blue, green, and gilt. The hexagonal form features pierced cash medallions and alternating panels with floral motifs and stylized shishi (foo lions) amidst dense peony and chrysanthemum blossoms. The intricate design continues across the top with a central medallion surrounded by gilt chrysanthemum scrollwork. Executed in the Imari palette associated with Qing decorative traditions, this piece showcases the opulent detail and color layering characteristic of export porcelains made for Western markets. Marked on the underside with red character marks.
