(Lot of 2) Chinese polychrome enamel decorated porcelain plaques, late Qing/Republic period, the first featuring a pine issuing from the side of a cliff over reeds along the banks of the river framing a boat seated with three scholars and a boatman, with rustic dwellings and bare trees to the middle ground and featuring a pavilion amid a mountain peak, the upper right bearing a poetic colophon 'shan shui heng tuo qian li yuan, bian zhou [zeng] zai liang san ren', cyclical date 'jiwei' winter (=possibly 1919), dedicated to Mr. Qihe as a gift from Lu Shurong and painted with a cartouche 'yin', sight: 14.6''h x 9.6''w, overall: 20.75''h x 15.75''w; the second depicting a large pavilion amid blue-green mountains dotted with trees, together with a rustic dwelling to the base along side a river bank and framed by blossoming and leafy trees, with a scholar crossing a bridge to the right, sight: 14.75''h x 9.7''w, overall: 21''h x 15.5''w; Provenance: ex-collection of Mrs. Woo Chen Zon Yin, purchased at Sotheby Parke Bernet, Hong Kong, November 4, 1974, lots #156 and #170, by Reynold Tom of Oakland, now offered by his family
