Finely carved from a single block of green hardstone, likely jadeite, hollowed and rounded to form a vessel on three feet. The body is overlaid with delicate applied silver filigree mounts worked with butterfly and floral motifs. The pierced silver cover is surmounted by a Foo dog finial. The base bears an auspicious four-character mark Fu Lu Shou Xi (“Happiness, Prosperity, Longevity, Joy”), commonly used in the Republic era to invoke blessings. Dimensions: approx. 8–9 cm diameter. Condition: Tarnish and surface wear to silver consistent with age; stone body intact with natural inclusions.
