<td width="100%">
This is a more unusual china head that would have been made in Germany. You can not read the number in the back as the mold was poured lots of times but there is an indent where the number is. There is very little wear to the black paint. There is just a little rough spot on the inside corner by one of the sew holes. She has exposed ears and the light organish lines above her eyes. The hair style is unusual in that it has curls around the face and in the center there are like 2 large curls right in the center of her head, then the hair curls to the back with a ridge being formed. She has very bright cheeks. There is old cotton stuffed inside the head and the old tag says Eugenia Cast Walker's Doll head. She was born Oct. 7, 1873. Rag doll was named Martha. She now only has the head so maybe the body detoriated at some point in time. She has two sew holes in the front and two in the back. She is 4" tall, about 3 3/4" across on the top shoulder to shoulder, front to back from the base is 2". She measures about 8" around just above the ears. There are some pit marks from the early firing. Buyer to pay $10 for U.S. priority mailing, insurance, and handling. Thanks for viewing.
