A Beautiful Chimayo Weaving by Ray Cordova 60-inches by 36-inches using 4-ply Commercial Spin Wool and Natural Dye of Madder Root, Indigo, Logwood and Undyed Wool Oatmeal.

The History of the Spanish Weavers of the Northern Rio Grande Valley dates back 100's of years and they continue to do beautiful weaving today. They use Horizontal Looms. This weaving community while spread around Northern New Mexico, has a number of shops north of Santa Fe in the town of Chimayo.
