Bond reads, ". . .For Value Received hereby acknowledge that they owe to the Bearer hereof Five Hundred Dollars. . . ." Signed by W. Hickok as treasurer, and Lyman W. Gilbert as president. Green embossed seal. Two vignettes, one of working miners and the other of George Washington. Pink under print. Black border and black ink on tan/crème color paper. Faded red twenty-five cent revenue stamp. Manuscript cancelled. Four of six coupons are left, all signed by Gilbert each for $17.50. No 6. In fair condition, with stains and yellowing throughout, and tears in between the creases.
