<B>Chief Crow Feather Portrait By Dolph Levino.</B></I> Artist-signed colored sketch, 5" x 6.5" on 8" x 10" mount, titled "CROW FEATHER - A SIOUX CHIEF". Two rather obscure American characters come together with this modest, yet well-done, piece of original art. The artist, Dolph Levino, was an illustrator and a writer of burlesque scripts. It is also quite possible that he was the vaudeville actor of the same name. Crow Feather might be a signatory thus named on an 1865 treaty between the San Arcs Band of the Sioux and the U.S. Government. Regardless of his identity, this is a professionally executed rendering of a Native American.
