<B>Chicago, IL</B></I> - $5-$5-$5-$5 1902 Plain Back Fr. 608 <B>The Douglass NB</B></I> Ch. # 12227 Uncut Sheet<BR>We are fortunate that in this auction we have uncut sheets on both Black owned national banks from this era (the other bank is the Dunbar National Bank of New York.) The Chicago bank was named for famed abolitionist Frederick Douglass. This is an embossed sheet with the only handling being a minor corner fold.
