Decorative border in brown, red, black, and yellow. In Chinese, not translated. Appointment of Li Suun Yen as China's delegate to the 10th session of the Assembly of the International Civil Aviation Organization, a specialized agency of the United Nations, to be held in Caracas, Venezuela, June 19 - July 16, 1956. Generalissimo Chiang Kai-shek (1887-1975), head of his country's army from 1925, was President of the Chinese National government from 1928 until his death. In 1949, the Communist Chinese ousted the Nationalists from mainland China to the island of Taiwan. Yeh Gongchao (1904-1981) was Nationalist China's Foreign Minister from 1950 to 1958 and Ambassador to the United States from 1958 to 1961. In original envelope (three file holes).
