The lot features a Cheyenne fully beaded knife sheath and early trade knife with circa early 1900 age. The sheath shows an Indian tanned hide, most likely Buffalo due to the thickness, with early glass trade seed beadwork in a traditional geometric pattern. The beadwork shows all petit and seed beads in chalk white, Cheyenne pink, cobalt, greasy yellow, sky padre blue, semi-transparent rose, semi-transparent medium and dark green, and medium blue. The front shows an intricate and detailed design and the rear shows three four armed crosses. The sheath and beadwork is sinew sewn. The trade knife, which shows a 19th Century age shows a one-piece walnut grip with pewter inlaid design and nice blade. The sheath measures 8”L by 2.5”W. The knife is 11.25”L with a 6.75”L blade.
