The lot features a fully glass trade pony beaded sheath with trade knife attributed to the stylings of the Cheyenne Native American Indians. The sheath shows a parfleche construction that has been wrapped in tanned hide and sewn with a geometric pattern of glass trade like beads. The scabbard/sheath also has a fancy beaded edge, framed edge, with beaded drop fringe and rolled tin jingle cones. The knife appears to be an old or vintage kitchen knife that has the original hardened wood grips with added antique style pewter silver colored inlay, a design that was typical of Great Lakes or Ojibwa tribes. The item does not carry any significant age or origin, but does display well. Sheath measures 17"L and the knife is 10"L.
