The lot features a beaded scabbard with trade knife from the Cheyenne Native American Indian tribe. The piece is from circa 1840-1880 and is an excellent museum quality well preserved piece. The sheath shows a two dragonfly pattern symbols on a chalk white base and red/blue striped top with a red trade clothe outer edge. The sheath is early sinew sewn and also shows a beaded tassel drop on the end. The piece comes with an early trade knife with wood handle having copper/brass rivets (handle marked only visible mark is "The Saint...". Knife and sheath together are 15.25"L (with fringe). Knife is 10 5/8"L with a 6"L blade. Sheath is 12 1/8"L x 2.5"W.
