This is from the Cheyenne Native American Indians and features a beaded and ocher painted iconic design. The front shows original 19th century glass trade seed beads in Cheyenne pink, black, chalk white, medium or medium sky blue, and medium green. The pieces exact age is unknown but appears to be from the 19th century. The piece has a linear stripe design with each stripe alternating between a beaded section and red ocher paint section. The edges show an early red trade clothe lining and the bottom has two brass trade bells. Measures 7.5"x5".
