This is an original Cheyenne Native American Indian beaded flat bag. The bag shows a double sided beadwork design with the front having a large cross with beaded border and the reverse showing a rare teepee design with beaded border. (cobalt, greasy yellow and more all sinew sewn). The piece was purchased and sold by Otto F. Ernst. Otto Ernst was a renowned Saddle Maker and would purchase Native American items to sell in his Saddle shop and Catalog. Otto Ernst Saddlery Sheridan, Wyoming. From the King Saddlery Museum Collection. Rare bag is from 1912-1938. Measures 9.5"x10".
