Good condition
This ornamental chess set from India features an elaborate carving. The pieces, some in human and some in animal form, are rendered with exquisite detail. The figures are wearing opulent gowns – in green and red respectively – with rich gold trimming and hold a musical instrument in their hands. All 32 pieces as well as the chessboard are included. The figures come in a fitted box clad in dark blue velvet.



The chess set is in good condition with signs of wear. Small parts are broken and missing. Some parts have been glued. One figure with a crack on the back. The height of the figures is 7.5 to 13.5 cm. The board measures 70 x 70 cm. (tfa)
