S.O.T.S. 1939 No. 11 and School written in pencil, the owner of this piece spoke to the curator of the Cherokee Heritage Museum and was told that all Sequoyah Pottery was made by Indian Children at the Sequoyah Boarding School in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, measures approx. 7.5''H x 4''Diameter.
