GOLD HILL CHECKS, H.H. FLAGG, 3 DIFFERENT, 1871-1872: The Flagg Bank was originally the Bank Of Maynard & Flood. Flood found himself in trouble with the Gov. and was sent to prison, so the M.& F. was now continued with its new name, H.H. Flagg. In 1872 the Flagg Bank found itself in trouble, and failed. H.H. Flagg was a long time resident, Banker, Broker & Businessman. In 1862 he served on the first water co. board, in 1863,he was elected a State Senator. He also owned one business block which bore his name "Flagg's Block". In 1868 he was shown in the business directory as being a Stock Broker in Gold Hill.City: Gold HillCounty: State: NV
