Che Guevara document signed as Minister of Industry, datelined Havana, 24 July 1961, just three months after the Bay of Pigs invasion. Document is a political resolution ''No. 61-456'' amending a previous law regarding the metal packaging industry. Spanish-language document appoints a Carlos Alvarez Garcia head of the Consolidated Metal Supplies packaging industry. Signed simply, ''Che'', as was his custom, above his title, ''Cmdte. Ernesto Guevara Serna / Ministro de Industrias''. Stamped with a Cuban Ministry of Defense seal. Single page typed document measures 8.5'' x 13'' on thin rice paper. Two punch holes and paperclip residue to top; creasing and toning throughout. Very good condition.
