Featured in this lot we have a Charlie Russell G-clay on canvas titled "Lewis and Clark Meeting the Flathead Indians at Ross Hole" circa 1912. The image shows a large group of Flathead Indians all on horse back with a number of dogs or wolves in the foreground with Lewis and Clark on the right side with trading goods. The image shows wonderful detail and color in the piece. The G-Clay is framed with a nice stained oak frame with a plain canvas border. The piece is in good condition overall with some slight wear on the frame. The frame measures 36" wide by 19 3/4" tall.
