Original pink-and-black 5.5 x 8.5 handbill for "'Bird' Charlie Parker and His All Stars" at the Open Door in New York City on January 9, 1955, presented by Bob Reisner. In fine condition, with the year "1955" annotated in ballpoint in the right margin. An NYC jazz impresario, Reisner managed two jazz clubs—the Open Door and the Pad. He was a jazz critic for the Village Voice, and wrote the 1962 biography Bird: The Legend of Charlie Parker.
