Irish-born composer who was particularly notable for his choral music (1852–1924). Vintage 3.25 x 5.25 postcard photo, signed vertically in fountain pen, “C. V. Stanford,” with Stanford adding a two bar AMQS along the right edge. Scattered light silvering working in from edges as well as some to darker parts of image, otherwise fine condition.
