"WINNERS WILL BE NOTIFIED AFTER THE AUCTION ENDS BY THE AUCTIONEER ONCE ALL BIDS HAVE BEEN PROCESSED TO DETERMINE THE WINNER FOR EACH LOT."
Original 6 May 1957 ''Peanuts'' four panel comic strip, hand-drawn and signed by Charles Schulz. In this strip, Charlie Brown takes his parent's orders literally to catch a cold now, before their vacation. Interestingly, the strip specifically mentions measles and mumps, a highly contagious childhood disease common before vaccines were introduced in the year this strip was drawn. When a campaign was undertaken in 1967 to completely eradicate the diseases, Schulz devoted a week's worth of strips to showing Lucy and Linus getting their shots. In the first and second panels, Schulz signs: ''To Mrs. Irene Hyde with kindest regards / Charles M. Schulz''. Strip, measuring 29'' x 6.75'', has been folded and shows minor soiling. Overall very good condition.
