Charles Schulz hand-drawn ''Peanuts'' strip from 22 April 1974. Four-panel strip features Charlie Brown and Lucy playing outside. Lucy wears a baseball glove and demands of Charlie Brown, ''Hey, Manager, How come we never try any field goals? / I'm standing in a field, aren't I? How come we can't try for a field goal if I'm standing in a field?'' She storms off but stops to turn and yell, ''STUPID MANAGER'' at Charlie. Strip is inscribed by Schulz in the third frame, ''For Shirley with every best wish - Charles M. Schulz''. Measures 30'' x 6.75''. Blue pencil line to the first two panels and numerical pencil notations to the lower right corner and above the third panel, else near fine.
