Charles Pete Conrad Space Flown Relic
"An important piece of actual hardware used by legendary moonwalker and astronaut Pete Conrad on his Apollo 12 mission. The piece is a clamp used to hold papers in place during weightlessness while Conrad was in the Lunar Module on the moonÆs surface. The clamp bears official NASA part and serial numbers and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity, dated May 31, 1994 signed by the late astronaut. Originally sold as part of the Pete Conrad Collection by Odyssey Auctions. Lunar-used hardware is the Holy Grail of space collecting, and this piece represents an opportunity to acquire a highly desirable artifact used by the third man to walk on the moon at his destination.
