Included in this lot we have a Charles Russell framed print titled "Herd Quitters" and originating from the early 1900's. Charles Marion Russell, born March 19th, 1864 in St. Louis Missouri and died on October 24, 1926 in Great Falls Montana. Russell is known for his paintings of cowboys, Indians, and western landscapes, as well as crafting bronze sculptures. This print features three cowboys on horseback chasing and working on lassoing a cow as it runs away from the rest of the herd. The piece shows Russells excellent art style and attention to detail. The art is signed in the bottom left hand corner reading "CM Russell 1897 - Historical Society of Montana all rights reserved - Litho-In U.S.A.". The print is set into a custom wood frame. The print shows good condition overall with some light wear across the frame. The frame measures 31" wide by 23" tall with the art measuring 29 1/2" wide by 21 1/2" tall.
