<B>Charles M. Russell Group of Twelve Color Illustrations</B></I> published by Trail's End Pub. Co. Inc. in 1948, all 6" x 9" in size. A selection of some of the finest of Russell's western-themed art, including: <I>Charles Marion Russell</B></I> (Self-Portrait); <I>A Dream of Burlington</B></I> (his earliest-known work); <I>Waiting for a Chinook</B></I>; <I>Return of the Warriors</B></I>; <I>When Wagon Trails Were Dim</B></I>; <I>When Mules Wear Diamonds</B></I>; <I>His Heart Sleeps</B></I>; <I>Rider of the Rough String</B></I>; and <I> Trail's End </B></I>(his last unfinished, unsigned oil painting). These were included in the 1948 limited edition of his biography and bibliography and still are in the original glassine sleeve. Two have minor staining that would easily mat out, else excellent condition.
