Inaugural flight-flown air mail cover with a cachet honoring the first flight from San Juan to Paramaribo, signed above the cachet in black ink with his rarer and most desirable full signature, “Charles A. Lindbergh.” Envelope is addressed in type to “E. Strasser, St. Thomas, V.I.,” and bears a September 20, 1929, postal cancellation on the front, with a St. Thomas cancellation on reverse dated September 22, 1929. Strasser was most important during the Cuba part of the goodwill tour in February of 1928. In very good condition, with uniform light toning, and creasing to lower right corner.
