Series 1935 A 'short snorter' one dollar silver certificate, signed vertically to the left of Washington's portrait in fountain pen, "Charles A. Lindbergh." The banknote is also signed by Donald A. Hall, a pioneering aeronautical engineer who designed the Spirit of St. Louis, and by Vincent Burnelli, an aeronautics engineer who was instrumental in furthering the lifting body and flying wing concept. Another hand has added above the Lindbergh autograph: “Engineers Club, New York City, February 1944.” In fine condition.
