Charles Goodyear autograph note signed. The rubber industry innovator and Goodyear Tires founder signs ''Charles Goodyear'' and adds a flourish beneath. Signature appears on a slip apparently cut from a letter Goodyear had written in his hand. The lines on the signed side, in Goodyear's hand, read in full: ''May I desire to be kindly remembered / I remain dear Sir / Yours faithfully''. Five lines written by Goodyear to verso discuss whose turn it was to write a letter. Delicate pale blue ruled stationery measures 8.25'' x 2.5''. Chipping to sides and irregular trimming. Very good.
