Charles Daly regent diamond quality 12ga high art engraved and gold inlaid shotgun, 30-1/4” barrels, 47-1/4” overall. Serial #2029. The gun is choked Improved Modified (right) and Full (left). The gun shows double triggers, auto ejectors, cocking indicators, checkered pistol grip stock, with fancy flaming edges, leather covered English type pad. The gun measures 14-5/8” to the end of the wood, 15-3/8” to the end of the leather pad. The rear of the barrels and frame are deeply high relief engraved with scroll and floral motifs with shell carved fences on the top of the frame which extend over to the side of barrels. The name on the rib is flush gold inlaid along with grade. The left side of the frame shows two game birds, crown on bottom of frame with two gold birds in scrolls, dog and bird on trigger guard in gold, game bird on right side of frame. The barrels are stamped “Excelsior Steel”, and “Witten”. The barrels show 90-95% original blue finish that is slightly toning, good crisp edges and markings, the frame shows its light grayish original color, and engraving is sharp and crisp at the edges, with grayish original case hardening. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries.
