Charles Daly diamond-quality drilling showing finest prewar Suhl quality, 12ga over 7.5x52mm, serial #22063 inside action, marked Made in Prussia. The gun is highly engraved and shows tight scrolls with game scenepanels on each side of the action incorporated into the removable sideplates. The frame is gold inlaid Charles Daly just below the fences and the gun shows all the bells and whistles including cockingindicators, frame extensions, and scalloping to the top of frame. Side safety, milled rear portion of rib for scope mount, flip-up rear sight, adjustable set trigger for rifle barrel, etc. The drilling has beenprofessionally restored and beautifully restocked. 98-99% restored blue and case hardened finish. The stocks are a select burl grain walnut with pistol grip, nicely checkered satin finish. The stock measures13-1/2” to the end of the wood, 14-1/2” to the end of the pad.
