Title page from a 1788 printing of The History of the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire, 8 x 10.25, signed in ink at the top, “Charles Catesworth Pinckney.” Framed to an overall size of 17 x 13. In very good condition, with scattered creasing and moderate toning and soiling impinging upon half of his name.
