German American poet, novelist, and short story writer (1920-1994). Promotional poster advertising an appearance at the Contemporary Arts Museum, 10.75 x 16.75, signed in blue felt tip, “Charles Bukowski,” who has added two small sketches. Framed to an overall size of 11.75 x 17.75. In fine condition.

This was signed at the Contemporary Arts Museum circa 1974–1975. At the time of the signing, Bukowski explained the significance of the two sketches to the autograph collector. He said ‘See that's me (the man) and there's a star, I am the star.’
