Gupta Dynasty, Chandragupta III (496-500 CE), Gold Dinar, "Chakra" type, Obv: king, nimbate, standing facing left, the king holds a long bow in his left hand and arrow in his right, adorned Garuda standard at left and Chakra on the top of garuda standard, Brahmi legend "Chandra" below king's arm, Rev: goddess Lakshmi seated, facing forward and seated in the padmasana posture on a seven-petaled lotus, holding diadem in her right hand while the left is resting on her thigh, a lotus is seen adjacent to the goddess's face, its stem is seen rising from under her left arm, tamgha at top left, Brahmi legend "Sri Vikramah" at the right field, 8.49g, 17.15mm, (TGE, S. Kumar # Var. B), sharply struck in high relief, choice quality, XF-AU, Extremely Rare.
