Center hammer Flintlock pistol with side mounted bayonet, brass octagon barrel with engraved brass frame, wood stock with silver butt cap and inlaid silver wire in stock. The pistol measures 11" overall with 6" heavy octagon barrel, approximately .52 caliber false rifle. The pistol shows a goldish color from being polished and lacquered. The old collectors polished every volcanic, Henry and brass pistol they could get theirhands on, clear lacquered them which gave them a gold looking finish. The bayonet is original and working, the stocks are good with some small areas of wire and one inlay missing. This was a high grade pistol in its day. Provenance Francis Fowler Museum, auction 1985. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
