This Chinese celadon porcelain jar is glazed in the Song crackling decoration style. The base is applied with a brown etched mark "Chenghua"( Ming dynasty) but this kind of brown etched mark is first seen in the Guangxu period(1875-1908) of the late Qing Dynasty so it is probably the date that this jar was made. Height: 8 9/16"; mouth diameter: 4 1/8"; bottom diameter 4 15/16". Minor damage to the rim.
