Official White House photographer Cecil W. Stoughton's personal photo album containing 31 original vintage 8 x 10 photos of President John F. Kennedy's fateful November 1963 trip to Texas, documenting his last full day alive on November 21st. The red calf leather photo album is stamped with decorative tooling on the front and back, with the spine stamped with Stoughton's initials, "CWS," and a title, "Last Texas Trip, Nov. #2, 1963." The backs of the color photographs are hand-inscribed as part of Stoughton's unique numbering and filing system.

These photographs can be split into three distinct groups, chronicling the rapturous welcome received by the presidential party at Houston International Airport; the banquet hosted in honor of the presidential party at Houston's Rice Hotel, where President Kennedy delivered a 17-minute address to the bilingual audience, and Jackie made some remarks in Spanish; and the presidential party in attendance at a banquet honoring Congressman Albert Thomas at the Sam Houston Coliseum, where JFK acknowledged Thomas's efforts in the development of America's space program. Seen throughout the images are President John F. Kennedy, First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy, Governor John B. Connally, Congressman Albert Thomas, Vice President Lyndon B. Johnson, and others. In fine condition, with the first sleeve in the album discolored, but the photo unaffected.
