Official White House photographer Cecil W. Stoughton's personal photo album containing 20 original vintage color 8 x 10 photos of the Kennedy family at Hyannisport in the summer of 1963. The red calf leather photo album is stamped with decorative tooling on the front and back, with the spine stamped with Stoughton's initials, "CWS," and a title, "Hyannisport, Aug. 1963." All are hand-inscribed on the reverse as part of Stoughton's unique numbering and filing system.

Taken during the happy days of the summer of 1963 at the Kennedy compound in Hyannisport, subjects include: President Kennedy and Jackie with John Jr. peeking out from his large red toy car; President Kennedy, Caroline Kennedy, and Lem Billings standing barefoot along the water's edge with Caroline knee deep in the ocean, taken over Independence Day weekend; three photos of President Kennedy playing golf; five photos of Carolyn Kennedy riding her horse, one of which includes her looking on with admiration; John F. Kennedy, Jr., with his very wet dog, Shannon; two photos of Caroline Kennedy at the beach; President Kennedy, in sunglasses, standing in front of a grounded catamaran in front of their house during Independence Day weekend; Caroline Kennedy with Secret Service agent Tom Wells strolling in the yard overlooking the harbor; and five photographs of an elderly Joseph P. Kennedy, sitting on the front porch of the Kennedy house—this would be the last time President Kennedy would see his father. In overall fine condition.
